It appears that some people think I view parenting in a negative way; let me assure you all that that's not the case. I wouldn't change anything; not the 25 hour labour, not the 1st three months of continuous crying, not the lack of sleep, not anything. I love my daughter more than anything in the world.
This blog is simply about things that most people don't talk about or don't tell you about while you're pregnant.

Hi Kristina (and K-fans)-- Thanks for alerting me to this blog. Great picture... interesting reading... and tremendous development! The hurdles of parenthood notwithstanding: Congratulations! I hope and think you'll find this new adventure challenging but tremendously satisfying. My own "first-born" is about to go off to university, and so I've been reflecting on the profound enrichment she's meant in my life over the past 18 years... and it's no exaggeration to say that she's a light of my life, an emotional "backstop" amid the world's trials and tribulations.
